Cyrtandra (Gesneriaceae): a diverse and understudied element of the New Guinea flora
Project summary:
Cyrtandra (Gesneriaceae) is a species-rich, yet understudied, element of New Guinea's flora. To accelerate taxonomic revision of New Guinea Cyrtandra, two problematic species complexes will be investigated using a phylogenetically informed approach to herbarium-based taxonomy. Faster production of taxonomic outputs is key to acting against threats to New Guinea's habitats.
