Project summary:

Our project´s focus is to digitise and to computerise the MICODIF collection´s data according to the DarwinCore biodiversity data standards, to strengthen MICODIF by modernising the collection management using the BarCode labelling system; to improve the storage, maintenance and conservation of the collection; to increase the specimen´s number through strategic sampling trips to Argentine biodiversity hotspots such as the Puna highland, and by training in fungal taxonomy and interaction´s biodiversity more students and young professionals to guarantee the perpetuity of MICODIF.
