Towards a better understanding of the distribution of Bryophyte diversity in the Western Region of Panama.

Project summary:

It is proposed to complement the UCH Herbarium collection and information on Neotropical Bryoflora. We will prepare plates of new records as supplementary material for recent publications, process and determinate historical bryophyte collections, update microscopy equipment, and incorporate undergraduate students in research and outreach activities.
