This project focuses on taxa of Prunus subg. Amygdalus occurring in overlapping populations in Türkiye, where morphological boundaries are difficult to define. By integrating morphometric analyses with nuclear and plastome genomic data, it evaluates hybridization and introgression to resolve taxonomic uncertainty, improve species delimitation, and support reliable taxonomic interpretation.
