Taxonomy and biosystematics of Ipomoea bahiensis Willd. (Convolvulaceae): a species widely distributed in Neotropical Seasonally Dry Forests

Project summary:

Ipomoea bahiensis occurs in Brazil and Bolivia, and despite being recognized by a set of characters, there is morphological variation throughout its distribution. Considering an interesting example of polymorphism, when using I. bahiensis as a model, we propose to investigate the morphological, ecological, and genetic diversity at the population level.
