Conservation genetics of two rare alpine roses in the White Mountains of New Hampshire

Project summary:

Common circumboreally, Sibbaldia procumbens was extirpated from a disjunct NH occurrence. Potentilla robbinsianam NH endemic, is an Endangered Species Act success, though genetics and origin has never been studied. I will elucidate population genetics and phylogenetic relationships among close populations and relatives of both species, work necessary for conservation planning.
