Taxonomic Revision and DNA Barcoding of the Family Cyperaceae in Nepal

Project summary:

Cyperaceae have high ecological dominance in wetlands and rangelands of Nepal. However, their taxonomy and diversity is poorly understood. Combining a taxonomic revision with molecular methods will lead to a better understanding of their evolution and diversity, which will allow placing the Nepalese Cyperaceae into a global evolutionary framework.
