The spatio-temporal co-diversification of frugivory-related traits
Project summary:
Here, I will test whether shifts in diversification and evolution rates of frugivory-related traits had coincided in time and space, as a result of co-evolutionary selective pressures from interacting partners. I will integrate geographical, phylogenetic and morphological data for frugivorous and tropical plants, ancestral state reconstructions and diversification rate models.
