Revision of the family Bryaceae (Bryophyta) in Kerala based on Morphological and Molecular approaches

Project summary:

Bryaceae Rchb. is one of the largest acrocarpic moss families, known for its taxonomic complexity. Apart from its cosmopolitan distribution, it remains under-explored in India, especially in the western ghats. This study aims to resolve the taxonomic complexity through morpho-molecular analysis. And thereby understanding its evolutionary significance.
