Resolving species delimitation in Parasopubia (Orobanchaceae) by integrating morphological and molecular data

Project summary:

The genus Parasopubia (Orobanchaceae) comprises 4 species and 1 variety all over the world. Since this genus shows considerable morphological variation, species delimitation of this genus can only be resolved by comparing morphological and molecular data. If IAPT grant is awarded, I will be able to complete molecular studies and will be able to provide a stable classification for this genus by collaborating with Dr. Gerald M. Schneeweiss (specialist on molecular phylogenetics in Orobanchaceae).
