Species diversity and biogeography history of coprinoid fungi (Basidiomycota, Psathyrellaceae) from neotropics

Project summary:

Coprinoid fungi has been poorly studied in neotropics. The ability to deliquesce linked to the lack of knowledge in tropics makes the coprinoid fungi an interesting model of mushroom’s evolution. Based on that, our aim is to analyze the phylogeny of coprinoid fungi including neotropical lineages and test evolutionary hypothesis.
