A phylogenetic and taxonomic study of the Magnolia species of Ecuador

Project summary:

I am studying the relationship among Ecuadorian Magnolias species, so I started collecting fresh tissue for DNA analysis. There are 24 Magnolia species in Ecuador, and I have collected 20 species. I am looking for this grant to complete the species set.
