This project investigates species boundaries and evolutionary relationships of Berberis in Arunachal Pradesh, a poorly explored biodiversity hotspot, using integrative morphology and multi-locus molecular phylogenetics. Through extensive fieldwork, it aims to collect samples from different areas to uncover its hidden diversity and infer a robust phylogeny for Himalayan Berberis.
