Resolving taxonomy of Ischaemum semisagittatum complex (Poaceae: Andropogoneae) using phylogenomic insights and morphometric analysis

Project summary:

This project presents the first phylogenomic analysis of the taxonomically challenging Ischaemum semisagittatum complex (Western Ghats endemics). We address the complex's high phenotypic plasticity and unclear species limits using whole plastome phylogenomics combined with multivariate morphometric analysis of comprehensive herbarium and fresh collections
