This project delivers the first regionally integrated taxonomic synopsis of Curcuma subgen. Curcuma in continental Southeast Asia. Through critical examination of type material and herbarium collections, it clarifies species boundaries, stabilizes nomenclature, documents distributions, and provides preliminary conservation assessments for a biodiversity-rich but taxonomically confused plant group.
