Phylogeny and Taxonomy of Eriogonum subgenus Ganysma with a Focus on the E. deflexum Complex (Polygonaceae) and Phytochemical Diversity across Eriogonum
Project summary:
I study Eriogonum subgenus Ganysma with a focus on species with downward-pointing flowers, known as the E. deflexum complex. The goal of my study is to understand the relationships among these plants to inform conservation with a multi-disciplinary approach. This approach includes phylogenetics, morphology, ecology, ethnobotany, and phytochemistry.
