Investigating the genus Callianthe Donnell.: taxonomy and phylogeny with emphasis on Brazil.

Project summary:

Callianthe Donnell includes about 50 species, of which 31 are concentrated in the
Atlantic Forest in Brazil, most of which are endemic. The taxonomy of the genus has
been very controversial, and the phylogenetic relationships are still poorly understood
between the proximate genera and especially the infrageneric ones, requiring a more
robust delimitation.
