Taxonomy and conservation of the ‘ulupicas’, three understudied wild chiles (Capsicum, Solanaceae) from the central Andes

Project summary:

The project aims at exploring the diversity of three wild chile peppers (Capsicum eximium, C. eshbaughii and C. cardenasii) to examine their taxonomic identity and conservation status. The grant money will be used to visit LPB herbarium (Bolivia) and fieldwork in poorly collected areas in central Bolivia and northern Argentina.
