This project aims to fill the gaps in knowledge about Scutellaria, the second largest genus of Lamiaceae, by expanding taxonomic and phylogenetic data on South American taxa in order to reconstruct relationships and resolve taxonomic inconsistencies, which are fundamental information for the conservation of species.
