Taxonomy and phylogenetic analyses of Halophila section Spinulosae in central and southern Philippines: An integrative taxonomic approach

Project summary:

This project aims to conduct an integrative taxonomic approach on Halophila in section Spinulosae to elucidate the phylogenetic relationships of different morphotypes. Specimens in herbarium collections will be examined for records of an undescribed seagrass. Together with collections from several locations, I will analyze them using a combination of morphological and molecular work.
