Seed morphology of Neotropical groups in Rutaceae (Galipeeae, Rutoideae) and its implications in the systematic of the group

Project summary:

The project proposal aims to use the morpho-anatomical characters of seeds in Neotropical groups (Rutaceae) to find synapomorphies that support clades inferred from new molecular data phylogenies. IAPT grant will be used to fund a trip to the New York Botanical Garden that bears an important collection of Neotropical Rutaceae.
