Diversity and conservation of the ‘ulupicas’, three understudied wild chiles (Capsicum, Solanaceae) from the central Andes
Project summary:
The project aims at studying the diversity and affinities among three understudied wild chile peppers (Capsicum eximium, C. eshbaughii and C. cardenasii) to assess their taxonomic identity and conservation status. The grant money will be used to visit LPB herbarium (Bolivia) and fieldwork in poorly collected areas of central Bolivia.
