The proposed project aims to investigate the taxonomic representativeness combined with the inherent gap in the phylogenetic relationships of Talinaceae and to carry out the biogeographic study of its representatives for the order Caryophyllales, taking into account mainly the recent changes in the understanding of the relationships of this family with its sister groups.
