Genetic Diversity and Spatial Genetic Structure of Guzmania monostachia (Bromeliaceae) in Florida

Project summary:

I will assemble a high-quality reference genome for G. monostachia to design a probe set targeting phylogenetically informative sites to construct a phylogenetic framework for Tillandsioideae. Single nucleotide polymorphisms will be used to quantify genetic diversity within and among populations.
