Systematic and Integrative taxonomy of the recently reestablished neotropical genus Lucuma Molina (Sapotaceae)
Project summary:
Clarify the current classification of the Neotropical Sapotaceae, with a focus on the genus Lucuma, the project seeks to investigate the phylogenetic relationships of this group. Besides, micromorphological analyses, such as the description of the organization of the epicuticular wax will be used as support to the taxonomic revision.
