Phylogenetic and evolutionary studies of the South American species of Deyeuxia (Poaceae, Pooideae, Poeae) based on morphological, anatomical and molecular characters.

Project summary:

Deyeuxia Clarion ex P. Beauv. belongs to subtribe Agrostidinae Kunth and constitutes the richest genus with an important center of species diversification in South America. Its delimitation is still under discussion. Hence, it is necessary contribute to the revision of the genus through phylogenetic studies using all available evidences (morphology, anatomy and molecular).
