Systematics of Calea myrtifolia complex (Asteraceae: Neurolaeneae)

Project summary:

Calea myrtifolia complex comprises 13 species of daisies, most of them occurring in the grasslands associated with the Atlantic Rain Forest and the Cerrado savannas. The project main goal is a systematic study, based on integrative taxonomy, testing its monophyly, studying its pollen morphology, character evolution and biogeographic history.
