Project summary:

This project proposes the systematic study of Anthurium sect. Pachyneurium ser. Pachyneurium (Araceae) from Brazil, including molecular phylogenetic and taxonomic analyzes, morphological descriptions, and analysis of geographic distribution patterns, besides description of new species, conservation status, preferred habitats and analysis of sympatry degree between the species.
