An integrative taxonomic revision of Carex (Cyperaceae) sect. Remotae in China: an insight into the temperate-tropical transition using field and herbarium data

Project summary:

This project aims to clarify the taxonomy and systematics of Carex sect. Remotae, a complex group mainly distributed from temperate to tropical Asia. Integrating field and herbarium work in China— its main diversity center—, and phylogenetic analyses, will enhance understanding of plant evolution and adaptive patterns associated with temperate-tropical transitions.
