Diversification of heterosporous water ferns during the Late Cretaceous of Patagonia, Argentina.

Project summary:

The main goal of this project is to identify and describe the water ferns present in the Late Cretaceous La Colonia Formation of central Argentinean Patagonia based on both macro- and microfossils remains and compare their diversity with similar coeval associations known from the Southern Hemisphere.
