Objective:

Take photos of the collections of the 750 species of Orchidaceae of HOXA

Plan:

Currently in HOXA we have a collection of about 5000 herbarium samples from the Orchidaceae family, which makes a total of 750 species, mostly from the ANP of the Central Forest. We have a Nikon D850 digital camera, 46 mpx, and of course computers to store images; But we don't have money to pay a full time person to do this job.

Timetable:

Month 01. Selection of 1 to 3 herbarium samples per species.

Month 02. Take at least 2 photographs, per sample, a general photo of the sample and another photographic with some important detail.

Month 03. Upload the images to the TROPICOS database of the Missouri Botanical Garden.
