Objective:
Make collection trips during the months of March-July to various states of the country, particularly in regions with the presence of rare or endemic species and specifically also to unexplored regions with conserved vegetation .
Contribute to the increase of collections of Herbario Metropolitano “Dr. Ramón Riba and Nava Esparza (UAMIZ)”, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, México.
Contribute to the taxonomic-floristic knowledge of Mexico.
Plan:
1) Collection trips will be made during the months March-July, to selected localities of the states of Mexico, Guerrero, Oaxaca, and Puebla
2) Photographic files of all the plants collected will be obtained to complete the herbarium specimens.
3) Floral cards will be made in the field/laboratory for its later inclusion on herbarium specimens.
4) All collected material will be identified and processed, including it in a database, before its incorporation to the Herbarium collection.
