Appendices of the Code

The International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants has seven Appendices, which together provide a permanent record of certain nomenclatural acts. The Appendices are as follows:

App. I. Suppressed works

 

App. IIA. Conserved, protected, and rejected names of families of algae, fungi, pteridophytes, and fossils

App. IIB. Conserved and rejected names of families of bryophytes and spermatophytes

 

App. III. Conserved, protected, and rejected names of genera and subdivisions of genera

App. IV. Conserved, protected, and rejected names of species and infraspecific taxa

App. V. Suppressed names

App. VI. Binding decisions on descriptive statements

App. VII. Binding decisions on confusability of names
