Join IAPT

Membership of IAPT is open to everyone who shares the goals and vision of IAPT.

Members join a global community of like-minded researchers and supporters of taxonomy and systematics, receive access to Taxon and a waiver on page-charges for publishing in Taxon, discounts on Regnum Vegetabile publications, rights to vote in IAPT elections and on proposals to amend the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi and plants, and access to members-only services of this website.

In addition to joining, please consider sponsoring another membership of IAPT. Sponsoring a student or colleague, especially in a developing nation, is a practical and cost-effective way to support global taxonomy and systematics, especially in areas where support is most needed.
