IAPT has members around the world. Travelling to meetings and symposia is often time-consuming and expensive, especially for members from developing nations and in institutions where travel budgets are limited.

For this reason, we are embarking in late 2018 on a series of IAPT Virtual Symposia. Symposia will be on topics of broad interest, and will be available for streaming to members in any time zone. Each Symposium will be live for a week, enabling participants to question presenters and take part in online discussions.

Once fully operational, we plan to run 3–5 IAPT Virtual Symposia per year.
