Bringing the wonderful world of plants to society: Digitization and disclosure of the JPB Herbarium, a strategic collection for the Caatinga and Atlantic Forest in Northeastern Brazil
Project summary:
Our main objective is to make all specimen data in the JPB herbarium fully available to the public, at no cost, by generating high-resolution images, providing accurate geocoordinate information, providing up-to-date curation of specimens, and storing and dissemination of data through open-access online databases.
