Uncovering the data of tropical bryophytes and lichens diversity from Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo)

Project summary:

This project focuses on four major challenges in understanding tropical bryophytes and lichens biodiversity in Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo): (1) collecting & fieldwork, (2) inventorying, (3) using molecular tools, and (4) digitization, outreach, and training the next generation of scientists. Geographical focal areas within Indonesia will include the Sebangau National Park, Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. This project will also support the training workshop that capacitates participants in the rigors of taxonomy especially on the liverworts and lichens.
