Project summary:

Herbaria of dried pressed plant specimens and associated collections have a invaluable resource representing unparalleled importance to several areas in science. The Herbarium DDMS is located in Central-West Brazil where there are 141 indigenous territories of which ca. 40% (56) are in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul and encompasses nine ethnicities. Previous botanical expeditions have accumulated gathering with associated use of plants.
