Improvement, digitization and online availability of the São Paulo Federal University Herbarium (HUFSP): an incentive for a developing collection in Brazil
Project summary:
HUFSP is the single official biological collection of UNIFESP. The improvement of this Herbarium is of a great importance for the Institution and for the local community. The main objective of this project is to provide the digitization and online availability of the HUFSP collection. The funding requested in this project will be especially used to make HUFSP collection available at Reflora Virtual herbarium, to promote the training of students, and to have a basic infrastructure to ensure the continuity of support to this scientific collection.
