Species limits and speciation in two lineages of land plants: An integrative approach

Project summary:

We seek to investigate species circumscription and speciation in one lycophyte and three fern lineages, using a multidisciplinary approach relating phylogenomic relationships to phenotypic patterns (morphological, spectral, cytogenetics, and environmental), and classificatory analyzes to test whether the recovered lineages can be phenotypically discriminated, delimiting species that reflect the evolutionary history.
