Systematics and Historical Biogeography Studies on the Genus Asystasia (Acanthaceae) in India
Project summary:
The proposed study will focus on systematics and taxonomic account on the genus Asystasia (Acanthaceae) in India. It is intended to understand the relationship among the Indian members of Asystasia by morpho-taxonomy, phylogenetic studies and updated nomenclature. The bio-geographical distribution pattern of the members throughout India will also be assessed.
