Establishing the first fungarium in Madagascar
Project summary:
Madagascar has only one mycologist and has no specialised space to store the fungal specimens. Most of fungal specimens stored in the country are damaged and infected by other organisms and can not be used for research or teaching. An IAPT Biodiversity Challenge grant will be immensely important for us to create a proper storage space for the specimens Madagascar.
