Uncovering the evolution and development of stem anatomy in Paullinieae (Sapindaceae)
Project summary:
To understand the connections between the climbing habit in woody plants and their stem anatomy, I decided to study the Paullinieae tribe and their remarkable stem morphological diversity. This trait could be a key factor supporting the success of the habit in the Sapindaceae family.
