Systematic studies of genus Embelia (Primulaceae) in India

Project summary:

Embelia Brum. f. (Primulaceae) has been studied only in the regional floras and the century old work of Clarke (l.c.) in India. Comprehensive taxonomic study of the group is still lacking. Therefore, we propose to undertake the systematic revision of Indian Embelia to understand its taxonomy and to resolve its complexes.
