Phylogenetic, Biogeographic and Ecological Inquiry into Deciduousness of Dipterocarpaceae

Project summary:

Deciduousness has not been studied sufficiently from an evolutionary perspective. This research seeks to uncover the evolution of deciduousness in Dipterocarpaceae of continental and south-east Asia through combining ecological, trait and phylogenetic data. It will fill a critical gap in knowledge concerning the evolution and assembly of the deciduous species.
