TAXONOMIC IDENTITY, AND MORPHOLOGICAL AND GENETIC VARIABILITY OF THE CARTHAMUS LANATUS COMPLEX (ASTERACEAE, CARDUEAE) WITH EMPHASIS ON THE PAMPEAN ECOREGION
Project summary:
Study the morphological, anatomical and genetic variability of C. lanatus and C. creticus in their Pampean distribution area. Determine if the species present stable morphological varieties or morphotypes within this distribution. Assess the genetic structure of the populations and quantify intra- and inter-population variation.
