Paepalanthus subg. Platycaulon Mart. ex Körn. (Eriocaulaceae): Taxonomy, Phylogeny and Biogeography
Project summary:
My study aims to perform a phylogenetic analysis of P. subg. Platycaulon (Eriocaulaceae) including a wide taxon sampling. I will estimate the divergence date among the species and reconstruct their ancestral range of distribution, proposing biogeographic hypotheses regarding the distribution of the species in the Andes and in the highlands of Brazil.
