The project aims to revise the taxonomy of Aldama (Asteraceae-Heliantheae) using morphological, anatomical, and genomic data. It addresses taxonomic challenges within Helianthinae by integrating phylogenetic analyses and ancestral character reconstructions. This study seeks to clarify species relationships, enhance taxonomic precision, and contribute to the evolutionary understanding of Helianthinae through an integrative approach.
