Taxonomic revision and achene micro-morphology of the genus Elatostema
(Urticaceae) in India

Project summary:

This project aims to provide a comprehensive taxonomic revision of the largest non-stinging genus Elatostema (Urticaceae) in India, supported by achene micromorphology which will be the first attempts towards systematics of the family Urticaceae in India. The grant would help to cover the costs associated with herbaria visits, field collections and SEM analysis and to develop collaboration with Urticaceae specialists.
