Systematics and Evolution of Grindelia (Asteraceae): Temporal and Spatial Connections Between Hemispheres

Project summary:

This project aims to reconstruct a phylogeny of Grindelia (Asteraceae) based on phylogenomic data, integrated with taxonomic revision and morphometric analyses. Broad sampling across North and South America will clarify species relationships, revise South American taxa, investigate biogeographic and diversification processes, and promote integration among taxonomists working on the genus.
